JULIE JEPSON

Cheeky Northern comedian Julie Jepson burst onto the comedy circuit in 2005 when she reached the final of the Funny Women Awards on only her third gig, subsequently being invited onto the Funny Women National Theatre Tour.

Since then ‘our Julie’ has become a very popular and sought after compere and stand-up comic, regularly hosting comedy nights at ‘The Komedia’ and ‘Upstairs at The Three and Ten’ in her home town of Brighton. Both venues have been consistently voted ‘Best Comedy Club in the South’ by Chortle.

Julie books and hosts her own comedy clubs; Funny Girls, which takes place on the second Friday of the month at ‘The Caroline of Brunswick’, Ditchling Road, Brighton and ‘Comedy Seaford’ on the third Friday each month.

Julie regularly performs in comedy clubs and theatres up and down the country and in Europe and New Zealand. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival. Brighton and Birmingham Comedy Festivals as well as Manchester, Brighton, Oxford, Liverpool and Nottingham Pride Festivals. Julie also performs at corporate and private events. 

A professionally trained actress, Julie has worked in theatre, television, radio and voiceovers.
