A cracking Comedy Night at The View, Seaford Head Golf Course - hosted & co-produced by comedian Julie Jepson & local event organiser & Seafordian, Caron Morton.
THE HISTORY
Caron had previously organised events in Brighton where her path crossed with Julie who often hosted and performed in her home town. Both big lovers of live comedy, they decided to create a Comedy night together in Seaford to entice the locals out on a Friday night to enjoy professional entertainment right on their doorstep. Comedy Seaford was born in May 2015 and has been running to very fun-loving, appreciative crowds ever since.

THE GIGS
Comedy Seaford brings you an eclectic mix of comics from brand new stand-ups just bursting onto the scene, to well-seasoned comics who perform all over the country. Some of the crowd favourites who have made Seaford laugh thus far include: Rosie Jones, Maisie Adam, David James, Al Lubel, David Mills, Ria Lina, Steve Best, Richard Vranch, Jen Brister, Maureen Younger, Laura Lexx, Jo Neary, Hannah Brackenbury, Jonwayne Connolly, Chris Talbot, Desiree Burch, George Egg, Will Franken and loads loads more.
THE VENUE
The View, Seaford Head Golf Course. Seaford Town Council have been very supportive of Comedy Seaford from the beginning and Caron, being a golfer & living very close to Seaford Head, had played the golf course and wanted to support the newly built clubhouse by inviting the locals to experience an excellent night out as well as the lovely food & hospitality that The View has to offer. Pre-show supper is often enjoyed watching the sun go down over the stunning views across Seaford bay.
THE CROWD
One thing is for sure, Seafordians love and appreciate a really good laugh. They love their food and alcohol too, all served up by The View staff. Julie Jepson always sets a lovely tone with her opening set and over the years has gotten to know many of the regular crowd by their first names. The Seaford Crowd have proven how appreciative they are of Comedy Seaford bringing top class, professional entertainment to their town. Backstage the comics often comment what a lovely crowd we have at Comedy Seaford. Long may it continue.
